 ORDER ENTRY ASSOCIATE

Lighting Environments and Environments is looking to hire an Order Entry Associate to join our growing team in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area! 

 

This position is responsible for providing agencies, customers and distributors with timely and expedient entry and support on new or existing orders. Additionally, this position will:

  • Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.

  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.

  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.

  • Apply data program techniques and procedures.

  • Scan documents and print files, when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     

We are looking for order entry and/or office associates who: 

  • Can multi-task and have good time management skills. 

  • Adept in technology (ERP systems, MS Office). 

  • Handle incoming correspondence from agencies, customers and distributors in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Work independently, prioritize work and handle simultaneous assignments with success and accuracy.

  • Prioritizing tasks in order of importance and the ability to plan out processes.

  • Adaptability.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.

  • Detail oriented with exemplary organization skills. 

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • High School diploma/GED.

  • Proven data entry work experience (+2 years), as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.

  • Familiarity with administrative duties. 

  • Clear communication, both written and verbal.
